March 7, 2004 journal, I see
no reason for the Jewish people to be upset at the movie Passion of The Christ.
A local mob of people loyal to the high priest were instigated into demanding
his crucifixion. That is like blaming all Southerners for slavery when in fact
only 5 percent were involved in slave ownership and some of those were reported
to be black slave owners. The Jewish
people did not seem to me to be the target of this movie. They were not called Jews in those days of
course. I never think of blaming the
Jews for the death of Christ or for his suffering. Christ is divine and came to
earth as a sacrificial lamb to atone for the sin of mankind. The majority of the Protestant Church I know for a
fact holds Jews in highest regard because they believe that somehow the Jews
will be soon forced into Christianity. I
have discovered or have been enlightened in recent years that this is not the
case. God will not force the Jewish people into the kingdom. Our next collaboration will be about the
'gathering' and it's not for the coming of the Lord but for destruction. We do not hold Germans responsible for what
Hitler did nor do we hold the Japanese responsible for the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Second
World War. We are not even holding the
Nation of Islam or that is the 1 billion Islamic people responsible for
destruction of the Trade Towers. We've managed
to get along and coexist with all people of the world. I'm not defending the movie or Mel Gibson; I
was busy trying to read all the printed text and may have missed some things in
the message. He did show Christ as been resurrected but in a very weak way.
Some say that the beatings were not exaggerated but very true to the custom of
the day; to me it was more like a slaughterhouse. The Christian Protestant world
at large considers Jews to be God’s favorite people but I disagree. The House
of Israel may be but they will not be saved as a group but as individuals. Baghdad was rocked
still again by heavy explosions today. There is no end in site for this evil
war. The jury convicting
Martha Stewart has no idea what is right and wrong, they are brain washed to
say the least. This will no doubt backfire on b-u-s-h and women will be in the
streets. The propaganda is so strong and the pressure on jurors is surely
convincing. Gene Robinson is now a gay bishop in the Episcopal Church claiming
to be God's man. The latter-day church is a mockery before God and it will soon
all be over in the coming. Chalabi denies misleading U.S. into attacking Iraq. We
are paying him $350,000 per month to make up false stories (quoting 60 minutes). We certainly have lost all our senses. Where do you go to find good health food in
any town or countryside that is not loaded with sugar? Where do you carry kids
that is not loaded with French fries, food that is made with hydrogenated oils.
Where do you find water that is not full of poison chlorine and/or
fluoride. This nation markets sugar and
lets health go down the drain. Beware of
food. Be aware of what is in your food
and return to the garden to grow your own safe food supply. I am running from the television set which
seems to damage my brain with the repetitive programs and commercials. Where can I hide to escape the mind control
of the media? A 50 mi. an hour wind has
blown my door open and scattered my art all over the place. A local boat has capsized and one man is
missing at Lake Greenwood while he was fishing. Andy Rooney takes on Mel Gibson and Pat
Roberson quoting Pat as saying he heard from God who told him that G W b-u-s-h
will be reelected because he deserves to be.
Here is Pat’s exact quote "I think GB is going to win in a walk. I'm hearing from the Lord that it’s going to
be a blowout". "The movie by
Mel Gibson called "The Passion of the Christ" is the other religious
issue in the news. Everybody's talking about that. The question is whether the
Jews killed Jesus-who was Jewish, of course”. More tomorrow.
